AIAMO in NABU magazine ‘Naturschutz heute’ (Nature Conservation Today)
The current autumn 2025 issue of NABU magazine ‘Naturschutz heute’ focuses on sustainable mobility and the possibilities offered by digital technologies. Among the projects featured is the publicly funded AIAMO research project.

The NABU article clearly illustrates how AI-based systems can intelligently shape the mobility of tomorrow. Among other things, it explores barrier-free, autonomous on-demand taxis, digital mobility apps and rail and bus transport that is perfectly coordinated with other intermodal services. The aim of AIAMO is to use artificial intelligence to link the mobility data of various transport providers so that all services in Germany and Europe can be recorded, intelligently connected and processed for users in innovative applications.
Autonomous electric buses, smart cargo bikes and a synchronised rail network across Germany make it clear: with AIAMO, mobility, the environment and transport are efficiently connected, more convenient and more inclusive – for people of all ages and mobility needs.
