New expert article: From traffic dispersion to mobility organism

In the latest expert article in the AIAMO-KI series in the professional magazine Straßenverkehrstechnik (issue 10/25), Romina Quaranta, Martin Bäumler and Jens Mühlner from T-Systems International show how isolated traffic systems can be transformed into a networked, learning whole – a sustainable mobility organism.

Local municipalities are faced with the challenge of reconciling increasing mobility with climate protection and better air quality. The article describes how the AIAMO research project supports this change and how T-Systems is contributing to it: through sensor stations that record local environmental values, as well as applications such as Low Carbon Mobility Management (LCMM) and the Mobility Operation Centre (MOC), which operate on the integrated AIAMOnexus database.
The article makes it clear that sustainable mobility is not created by individual technologies, but by the intelligent interaction of many components. AIAMO shows how local authorities can already implement AI-based, adaptive mobility management step by step.
