A successful AIAMO roadshow in Munich: a round-up

We have just concluded a multi-perspective roadshow, featuring a wealth of practical insights and in-depth expert discussions. Representatives from municipalities, the research sector, industry and mobility planning engaged in lively discussions on current challenges and innovative solutions for sustainable and future-proof mobility. The focus was on the question of what role artificial intelligence (AI) will play in mobility management in the future and how its potential can be leveraged to support cities and regions in achieving the EU’s climate targets. In particular, the stricter emissions targets for 2030 pose major challenges for cities and counties.

A particular highlight of the roadshow was the concrete experiences and insights gained from our pilot regions, Leipzig and Landau in the Palatinate. The use cases presented clearly demonstrated how AI can already help to analyse complex mobility and environmental issues using data and to derive targeted measures.

In addition to the technical insights, the AIAMOroadshow in Munich offered numerous opportunities for participants to exchange ideas. The discussions demonstrated that the successful transformation of the mobility sector can only be achieved through close cooperation between local authorities, technology providers, research institutions and other relevant stakeholders. The open dialogue on challenges, experiences and innovative approaches provided valuable inspiration for future projects and collaborations.
